My boyfriend, during a conversation on what to post on Comfort Zone's blog, came up with an idea that was sure to help CeeZee get adopted:"Oh, look. The dog laid an egg. I think it's golden."
OK, so he doesn't lay golden eggs. He doesn't lay eggs at all. He is though a golden boy. Do you want a sweet, loving, happy fawn boy who enjoys lounging around the house, snuggling, playing in the yard, going for walks & really going & doing anything with you? If so, better hurry & get your application in. This guy is worth the rush, I promise.

Groomed for success
Hello to all my admirers. (Foster mom says I have admirers. How wonderful!) It has been an exciting couple of weeks. Early last week we all loaded up in the truck & went on a short ride. It was Venus, Stellaluna & I riding together with the screened windows in the back of the truck open. Woohoo! That was so much fun. Foster mom, well she isn't a smooth shifter so I really had to learn to balance & hang on. Then she stopped & we all unloaded at a place called "Full-screen
Doggie Style" in Loganville. It was The Groomers. I didn't know what that was but the people inside were very nice and happy to see us. They love Greyhounds and took good care of us so I could be all clean and neat when I went out to see my public later in the week. They commented on how happy & friendly I am. There were these little dogs already there for their beauty appointment. They barked at me but I was more interested in the people. The groomers made a fuss over me. It was not yet my turn for a bath so they offered me a place to sleep. When they opened the kennel door I went right in & settled down to wait. They were happy to have such a good, polite boy who cooperated through the whole appointment. Soon foster mom picked us up and we got to ride back home again.
Later in the week we needed some supplies so I got to go shopping at Lowe's. This time I rode in the back seat of the car. I am still learning how to get in. I put my front feet on the seat & then try to figure out how to get my back feet in. It isn't like stairs at all. I can do stairs. So foster mom helped me get my hind end into the car. We had a nice ride that was so far I fell asleep on the way. Once we got there I was very excited to get out & see all the sites. So many people watched me walk down the aisles showing how happy & confident I am. There were lots of things to see & sniff but I did not try to take anything with us. Left that for my foster parents. When we stopped to check out of the store, several people came over to check me out. They were impressed with my behavior. (Foster mom says I still pull on leash a little but after the initial excitement, I walk well.) Then we got back in the car & I took another little nap on the way home.
That's my update for last week. Foster mom tells me I am a very good boy. Don't you want to come meet me? I'll keep an eye out for you.
